On 5 October 2010 the company announced that Mr Philippe Jacot had been appointed CEO of the Group and that he would be taking up his duties on 1 January 2011. After six months, it has finally been clear that this choice was unwise for both sides. A great deal of industry excitement has already surrounded the launch of Holroyd’s new Zenith machine which is destined to be one of the stars of the show. The machine is Holroyd’s first with the capability to use all three grinding technologies, aluminium oxide, "diamond-hard" plated CBN (cubic boron nitride) and vitrified CBN.
